At the March 18 USD 394 Board of Education meeting, the board approved of Greg Welch stepping into the assistant principal position at Rose Hill High School for the 2024-25 school year. 

Over his nine years in Rose Hill, Welch has been the strength and conditioning coach, junior and senior counselor, CTE coordinator, and head girls and boys basketball coach. 

Welch is excited to see where this next journey takes him and his family. 

“I am very thankful for the opportunity to become the Assistant Principal at Rose Hill High School,” Welch said. “I am excited to come to school now as I was the day I was hired.”  

Welch is thankful for the people he’s gotten to know that makes the district so suitable for him.

“A big reason is the people in the building,” Welch said. “We have great leadership in the office, a wonderful faculty, and students that are a joy to work with.  I hope I can continue to be a Rocket for many more years here at RHHS.”
