The Rocket Volleyball team won the first game and lost the second game September 17, going on a 10-1 record. The loss to Mulvane ended their 10-game winning streak.
“We did not have our best outing but there is a lot of sickness going throughout the team so we were not at 100 percent,” Rose Hill coach Cherith Mock said.
The Rockets defeated Winfield in the first game 25-17 and 25-18, before falling to Mulvane 21-25 and 24-26.
“Knowing that we were not at our best and we still hung with them, that was encouraging,” Mock said.
