The Rocket boys soccer team defeated Classical School 1-0 on Monday November 4th at Rose Hill District Stadium in the state quarter finals.
“The game went pretty much how I thought it might. We had just played them a couple of weeks ago and they made adjustments,” said coach Jerry Treat.
The Rockets had one goal coming from Luke Anderson.
“We didn’t bring the intensity that we needed to and it made the game closer than it should have been,” Treat said. “We will have to bring that intensity against Miege to have a decent chance. If we do, it should be a great game.”
Next up for the Rockets is a home game against No.2 seed Bishop Miege at 6:00 in the state semifinals.
