The Rose Hill Schools have recently been updated with some much needed renovations, but there are still many more exciting things to come.
The high school will continue to see many improvements as phase two of construction begins, starting with the new multi-use storm shelter.
“The shelter will be used for a weight room, wrestling room and an addition to the band room,” said Superintendent Chuck Lambert.
Lambert said they are hoping to have this construction done by the end of the school year.
Many athletes are excited about these new facilities in the hope that they will give them more opportunity to improve their skills.
These athletes will be idolizing the new weight room with lots of new equipment and space to advance their abilities, whether that is on the field, the court, or the mat.
The middle school is also getting some new improvements, they will be getting a multi-use storm shelter that will have a lunch room. Another addition they will have is a “flex room” that could hold an entire grade level.
The primary school will be adding a multi-use storm shelter. Along with this, they will also be getting another space for Kids Klub and Pre-K.
“The entire project should be finished by the end of August in 2026,” Lambert said.
The order in which the buildings will be completed is; the high school project will be the first then the primary, followed by the middle school.
