The USD 394 Board of Education approved Rose Hill High School’s assistant principal Aaron Jackson taking over the principal position for the 2024-2025 school year.
To start his career, Jackson began teaching math at Clearwater, Andover, Tonganoxie, and Pratt, Jackson was the Athletic Director at Maize South for three years, and in 2013 he returned to Rose Hill to continue his administration career.
After graduating from Rose Hill High School in 1990, Jackson is excited to carry on his Rose Hill legacy.
“I am very excited to be the new principal at Rose Hill High School, my alma mater,” Jackson said. “It will be hard replacing Mr. Haydock who’s been here for 17 years; longer than any principal in school history.”
Jackson hopes to continue the culture and tradition that has long stood under previous leadership.
“I look forward to working with our awesome students and excellent staff, and continuing the long tradition of Rose Hill High being an excellent educational institution,” Jackson said.
