The Lady Rocket golf team had their Regional golf meet in Ulysses on Monday, October 14th and junior Kolbie McEwen qualified for the state tournament next week.
McEwen shot 101, which was the last qualifying score amongst the teams that did not make the team score
“I liked the course and I think the practice round we played the day before helped me a lot,” Kolbie McEwen said. “I was not expecting to qualify for state, I’m very nervous.”
The state golf tournament is Monday, October 21st and Tuesday, October 22nd at Hesston Golf Course.
