The Rose Hill Rockets Boys Wrestling team had their first tournament on Friday, December 6th.
“The competition was solid for the whole team with most of us coming out of the building with a tournament win,” Cash McVay said.
After having an outstanding tournament at the Valley Center December pools, beating every team by 60, the Rockets took first place overall, and had six first place finishes. Samson Whitted, Trenton Richwine, Cash McVay, Johnny Leck, Thunder Page, and Nate Poss all took first.
“It felt good to finally be back on the mat, and get a win as a team,” Nate Poss said.
The Boys Rocket Wrestlers will wrestle next at Douglass on Saturday, December 14th starting at 9:30 am.
