Cherith Mock is the new head coach for the Rose Hill High School varsity volleyball team. This is her first year coaching volleyball at Rose Hill, but not her first time coaching volleyball.

Mock has been a coach on and off since 2001. Before coming to Rose Hill Mock coached at Augusta High Schools and Derby schools.

The Rose Hill varsity volleyball team has won state the past two years. Coach Mock thinks that the team has a great chance to participate at state once again this year.

Gracie Van Driel, Breckyn Myers, Emily Alder, and Analisa Pennington will be returning as seniors this year. Van Driel as middle hitter, Myers as setter, and Alder and Pennington as outside hitters.

“As a first year coach I am excited for all of them,” Mock said in an email. “The girls are looking forward to playing McPherson, Andale, and Circle.
