The Rose Hill Rocket soccer team fell to Coffeyville in their season-opening game 2-1 on Friday, August 24..  Caden Dinkel scored the Rockets only goal at 27:42 in the 1st half, and no other goals were made by the Rockets or the opposing team through the 1st half.

In the second half at 15:26 an accidental touch by the Rockets led to the first goal for Coffeyville.  The Golden Tornadoes’ next goal was at 9:19, after another accidental touch by the Rockets.

This was the third straight year Coffeyville had defeated Rose Hill. Up next for the Rockets is a home game against Andover Central on Monday, August 27.
