At the February board meeting, USD 394 board members made some changes to the 2026-2027 district calendar.
Some key dates for next school year:
– First day of classes: August 12
– End of first quarter: October 8
– Semester one parent teacher conferences; no classes: October 15-16
– Winter break: December 22- Jan 1
– Semester two parent teacher conferences; no classes: February 25-26
– Spring break: March 15-19
– Last day for seniors: May 14
– RHHS graduation: May 16
– Last day for students: May 19
The USD 394 Board of Education were given two options to vote on for the updated district calendar.
“The calendar committee felt like the 2025-2026 schedule was so well received by the district that we just adjusted the dates to make it work for 2026-2027,” said Matt Browning, a member of the district calendar committee. “Similar to this year, I think it’s a balanced calendar and one I really like.”
