After many dedicated years to the Rose Hill District, Robert Roach has been promoted to the new vocal teacher at the high school for the next school year.
For many different reasons, perhaps most importantly the fact he is the high school boys and girls swim coach, moving to the high school position makes sense.
Roach is most excited for being given the opportunity to begin building something special.
“A vocal music program that is fun, challenging, and something that our district and community can be proud of,” said Roach.
Roach has a few set goals already planned out for next school year. With this new position he is hoping to achieve those goals to better the music program.
One thing Roach would like to see change at Rose Hill High School is the numbers of participation in vocal classes. Roach believes all students can make an impact so he would like to increase that number by encouraging students to join the vocal program.
“I have several ideas on how this goal can be achieved and look forward to making it happen,” said Roach
Roach is very passionate about Rose Hill and what it can offer to students and staff. There are two main things about the Rose Hill District that stand out to Roach.
“First, the incredible talent that’s inside each student here,” said Roach “Second, the wonderful support we have from the administration, the board of education, and the community, I can tell you this is not standard everywhere. We are very blessed here.”
